About

My name is Alistair and I have been playing the trumpet for 17 years. From an early age, I’ve been immersed in music. My formal education began at the Royal Junior College of Music. I was part of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, whilst attending The BRIT School. I then gained a degree in Jazz Trumpet at The Royal Academy of Music.

As a freelance Trumpet player I have played all types of music for many different occasions, including functions such as weddings and parties. I do recording sessions for Pop artists, perfume adverts and many others. I have had the pleasure of performing at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex, The 606 Club, The Bulls Head, Ziggy’s Jazz Club, The Progress Theatre, The Spice of Life and many others. I now also perform music from my recent debut album.

I am incredibly passionate about sharing my love of music and teaching gives me an opportunity to do so. I currently teach people across all age groups and my eclectic education has given me extensive knowledge in Classical, Jazz and Pop music.
